In September 1996, the Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) and the Queensland Police Service (QPS) established the Beenleigh Calls for Service Project (BCFS) Project, a six-month experiment to find out whether the application of problem-solving techniques would reduce the number of repeat calls for service in the Beenleigh Police Divison. This report is the CJC's evaluation of the project.
