Venue
Unless otherwise notified, we hold all public inquiries in our Hearing Room located on:
Level 2, North Tower Green Square
515 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley.
Suppression orders
We may apply, lift and reapply suppression orders throughout an inquiry. We will assist by advising you of any current suppression orders. To breach these may constitute a criminal offence. Media outlets are responsible for ensuring that suppression orders are enforced. If you are unsure what suppression orders are in effect, please email our media team [email protected] for advice.
Recording and filming
We give permission to film, record and photograph public inquiries on a case-by-case basis. Media rules for particular hearings will be made available before the hearing. The hearing will be live-streamed.
Interviews
Interviews with witnesses, counsel and the public will not be facilitated by the CCC and are not permitted on CCC premises.
Mobile phones
Anyone attending the Hearing Room during proceedings must switch off their mobile phone or use it in silent mode.
