The CCC Internship Program offers university students the opportunity to apply their learning in a real-world environment while contributing to our important work—combating major crime and corruption in Queensland’s public sector.

Applications are now open for the CCC Internship Program 2025–26

The CCC is offering three full-time, paid internships (12 weeks from November 2025) and an additional 4-week placement (commencing June 2026).  The Internship Placement (16-weeks in total) provides university students with hands-on experience and professional development opportunities 
at the CCC.

The program is open to current university students enrolled in qualifications relevant to the role descriptions. Please refer to the SmartJobs advertisements for eligibility and application details.

The CCC Internship Program is open to current university students who meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolled at one of these universities:
    -    University of Queensland (UQ)
    -    Queensland University of Technology (QUT)
    -    Griffith University (GU)
    -    University of Southern Queensland (USQ)
  • Successfully completed at least 16 subjects.
  • Currently in your third or fourth year of study.
To be eligible: 
  • For the Legal Placement, you must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor.
  • For the Corruption Prevention and Engagement Placement, you must be enrolled in a Bachelor-level qualification in one of the following areas: Accounting (Audit), Communication, Criminology, Intelligence, Justice, Law, Marketing, Psychology, Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Relations, or Social Sciences.

Your completed application requires: 

  • Your Completed Intern Application Coversheet.
  • A Suitability Statement referencing ‘About you' section of the Role Description.
  • A detailed Resume, including your work experience and at least two referees (one ideally being your supervisor from the past two years) who has a thorough knowledge of your work performance and conduct.
