How to use the dashboard

This dashboard can be navigated by using the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Results appear across four pages: ‘Trust in integrity systems’, ‘Level and nature of corruption’, ‘Reporting and responses to corruption’, and ‘Comparisons by cohorts’. Results for each can be explored by clicking on the page title.

Users can also navigate to the home screen and the ‘About the respondents’ page using the same menu.

Some survey items appearing on the dashboard apply to selected respondents only. These are indicated with the symbol * in the chart label. Refer to the same symbol at the bottom of the dashboard screen to understand who responded to the survey item. See also: Filters, Empty charts.

Dashboard results can be filtered by using the Filter menu at the bottom-left of each dashboard page. One or more filters can be applied, and the data shown will reflect the option(s) selected.

Filters will remain selected when navigating between pages. To turn off selected filters, click ‘Clear all filters’ in the Filter menu.

As a default, the filters will include all survey respondents. To choose the group of interest to you, click on the down arrow, and select/deselect the sub-groups of interest.

At times charts may appear empty. This may be for two reasons:

  1. Where the selected filter(s) reduce the number of respondents to 30 or lower, and
  2. Where the selected filer(s) removes all respondents who were asked that question (see ‘Labels’ for more information).

To turn off all filters, click ‘Clear all filters’ in the Filters menu.

The heat map displayed in the ‘About the respondents’ page illustrates the approximate residential location of survey respondents. Blue represents the density of responses, with a darker blue indicating a higher concentration of respondents and a lighter blue showing a lower concentration.
