Queensland Police Service Promotion and Transfer System

This report is a follow-up of a survey conducted in 1998, which measured police officers' perceptions of the promotion and transfer system prior to the introduction of a new selection panel system.

Following the original survey in 1998, a number of changes were made to the QPS promotion and transfer system. The present research was conducted to measure changes in officers' perceptions of the system since the new procedures were implemented.
