Integrity in the Queensland Police Service: QPS Reform Update - Volume 1

There are two volumes to the QPS Reform Update. This first volume focuses on the broad area of integrity and standards of conduct generally in the Queensland Police Service (QPS). It: 

• summarises key findings from the Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) complaints data, research studies, inquiries and investigations 
• describes recent initiatives taken by the QPS to raise integrity levels within the Service 
• identifies outstanding issues that the CJC considers warrant attention by the QPS
• sets some benchmarks for future reports. 

The second volume focuses on developments in other organisational areas within the QPS, such as education and training, policing strategies, and organisational management.
