Criminal Justice Commission submission in response to the Review of Police Powers Discussion Paper

The Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) welcomes the opportunity to consult with the Government on the Review of Police Powers Discussion Paper. The ultimate decision on such policy matters lies with the Government of the day. However, for several reasons the CJC considers it appropriate to express its views in relation to the matters raised in the Discussion Paper.
