The purpose of the Code is to:
- set out the standards of conduct expected of CCC staff, consistent with the ethics principles and values outlined in the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994
- guide and assist CCC staff to identify and resolve ethical dilemmas that may arise in the course of their duties
- foster and maintain an ethical culture within the CCC
- promote public confidence in the CCC
