A 56-year-old Wishart man was today served with a Notice to Appear in Court to face a dangerous drug possession charge following a Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) investigation.

The former senior State Government employee will face one charge of Possession of a Dangerous Drug (Steroids) contrary to section 9(1) of the Drugs Misuse Act 1986 and is expected to appear in the Holland Park Magistrates Court on 1 May 2018.

As this matter is now before the court, the CCC is unable to comment further.

The CCC is an independent agency combating major crime and reducing corruption for the benefit of the Queensland community.
