Two former Queensland Transport officers appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today for issuing and using false driver licences and 18 Plus cards.
After a Crime and Misconduct Commission (CMC) investigation, Ann Marie Corrigan, 25, faced 12 charges of fraud for offences allegedly committed while employed as a customer service officer at Greenslopes Customer Service Centre.
Rebecca Louise McConnell, also 25, was charged with three counts of falsifying records and nine of fraud for offences allegedly committed while she was a customer service officer at Wynnum Customer Service Centre.
Corrigan’s alleged offences are said to have been committed between August 2003 and June 2005 and McConnell’s alleged offences are said to have been committed between December 2003 and February 2006.
The CMC has identified a number of people who obtained false identity documents and investigations are continuing.
