            A 40-year-old current serving Senior Constable of the Queensland Police Service (QPS) has been charged with assault following a Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) investigation.
The CCC will allege that the Senior Constable assaulted a 16-year-old male at Parkinson in Brisbane’s south on 6 June 2016.
The officer was served with a Notice To Appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 1 December 2016 on the following charge:
- 1 x Assault occasioning bodily harm contrary to section 339 Qld Criminal Code 1899
 
As this matter is now before the courts, the CCC is unable to make further comment.
