Queensland Transport Inspector, Edward Cornelius Moran, 46, of Bray Park, was sentenced today in the Brisbane District Court to a total of seven (7) years imprisonment for fraud and official corruption offences.

Mr Moran’s four accomplices:- William Henry Brady, 69, Graeme John Brindley, 74, Gary John Shale, 48 and William Jeffrey Keilly, 45 have been imprisoned for their involvement in the scheme.
In sentencing Mr Moran for two counts of official corruption, two counts of fraud and one count of fraud with a circumstance of aggravation, Judge Forno QC ordered that Mr Moran be eligible for parole after serving three years of the sentence.
