The CMC says some allegations in an anonymous letter to the Opposition Leader about recent crocodile relocations could amount to official misconduct if they are confirmed.
The letter was tabled in State Parliament this week by Lawrence Springborg.
The author was not prepared to provide a name for fear of bullying and harassment.
However, the Crime and Misconduct Commission is anxious to speak with that person so the matter can be pursued.
The person is encouraged to come forward and make him or herself known to the CMC.
They can be assured that their privacy will be respected.
