The CCC is an official partner in Right to Information (RTI) Day 2017 on Thursday 28 September. The lead agency is the Office of the Information Commissioner and this year’s theme is Right to Information: Open and accountable government and the media’s role. The event will reference the 30th anniversary of the Fitzgerald Inquiry which dealt with anti-corruption measures as well as the importance of right to information legislation.  The Fitzgerald Inquiry report recommended the formation of an anti-corruption agency in Queensland which is known today as the CCC.
