The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) has this morning issued a Notice to Appear in Court to a 51-year-old barrister to face two charges of perjury arising from Operation Stockade, an investigation into the activities of a Brisbane-based law firm.

It is expected the Toowong man will appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 21 December 2018.

As the investigation remains ongoing, and this matter is now before the court, the CCC will not be commenting further.

The CCC is an independent agency combating major crime and reducing corruption for the benefit of the Queensland community.
