            Following a Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) investigation, a 44-year-old current serving Senior Constable will face two charges of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The CCC will allege that the Southern Region officer assaulted a member of the public at the Caboolture Watchhouse.
The officer was served with a Notice to Appear in court to face the following charges:
- 2 x Assault occasioning bodily harm contrary to section 339 Queensland Criminal Code (1899)
 
The man is set to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 11 August 2016.
As this matter is now before the court, the CCC is unable to comment further.
