CCC public forum commences today - 6 October 2016

Today, the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) will commence its two day public forum that will examine whether it is in the public interest for allegations of corrupt conduct to be publicised, and if not, what legislative and other options are available to prevent it.

The CCC received over 50 submissions in response to a discussion paper titled Making allegations of corrupt conduct public: Is it in the public interest? A number of authors of those submissions will have the opportunity to discuss their views with members of the public forum panel.

The public forum will also be live-streamed via the CCC’s website.
